Birthday Book Club You can celebrate your child's birthday by donating a book to the library! For $20.00 you can pick a book and we will put a special bookplate in it to honor your child. You can also donate a book to the library in honor of your child's teacher. It makes a special holiday or end-of-the-year present.
Book Fair We have two book fairs a year. One in the fall and one in the spring. Thanks to all the volunteers who help us.
Book Swap  We have two book swaps during the school year. The rules are simple. The books to swap must be: in good condition, on your grade level and approved by your parents.
Cougar News Network Central Elementary School has a live morning news program and it is run entirely by students. Fourth and fifth graders are eligible to apply for the positions of sound person, cameraperson, and anchors.
