Central Academy of the Arts welcomes and encourages parental involvement in the education of their children. This page is designed to inform parents of involvement opportunities.

The School District of Pickens County Title I Plan is available for inspection by the public in the School District of Pickens County Office of Instructional Services at 1348 Griffin Mill Rd. Easley, SC 29640. Parents who may have questions, comments, or concerns about the Title I Plan may contact Mrs. Amy Turner, Coordinator of Federal and Special Projects, at 397-1006.

Central Academy of the Arts' Title I Plan is available in the CAA main office. Questions or comments may be directed to Mrs. Ashleigh Cobey at 397-1415.

Parents may make suggestions for the Title I Plan at the welcome table during Family Nights or in the suggestion box located in the Parent Resource Room throughout the school year.

Parent Nights

Sponsored by Title I, one Open House and two Family Nights are planned at Central Academy of the Arts for the 2019-2020 school year.  At each of these events, information on Title I, academic content standards, state standards, testing, and/or reading and math programs are presented to parents in attendance. 


All Family Nights will begin at 6:00 PM in the CAA cafeteria and various classrooms on the following dates:

Parent Conferences

Teachers will hold at least two parent conferences a year with each parent. This will allow parents an opportunity to visit classrooms and speak with teachers.  Please use your child's agenda or call 397-1400 to schedule conferences as needed.
